RETURNING TO PILATES AFTER BABY.

 

Returning to exercise after pregnancy baby can be a scary or daunting experience as our bodies have been through so much change during pregnancy and birth. But it doesn’t have to be.

We are committed to helping our new parents feel supported during this time and ensuring they have the safest and most nourishing return to their regular Pilates.

Our recommended return to exercise journey is by starting with a dedicated 90 minutes 1-on-1 with your instructor designed to reconnect post birth, assess where your body is at and help you understand any modifications or considerations you may need in your Pilates classes. Including a 60 minute workout, your Advanced Assessment will set you up for success in returning to exercise.

Start with our special Advanced Assessment Initial Consultation and from there you can decide to continue privately or join the Studio small group Duo or Trio classes. This small group setting includes a personalised workout designed especially for your body using the equipment and exercises your body needs the most to progress.

From here, your instructor will help you with a plan forward, assisting you to choose the group classes that are right for you so that you can feel confident you are starting in the best place.

The Studio is a space where your instructor can meet you where you’re at and work with you in providing individualised attention. Spending time in Studio will ensure you get the absolute most out of any Pilates practice, whether in Studio or group classes.
